Physician Assistant

Gabrielle Powell is a Physician Assistant with Cherokee Women’s Health. She sees women for their routine needs as well as treating more complicated issues, ones that may involve performing many different procedures. She has a particular interest in educating young women and helping women throughout the full duration of their pregnancies.

Gabrielle Powell shares why she’s so passionate about being a Physician Assistant.

Originally from Florida, Gabrielle received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Florida. She then obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS in Boston.

As a daughter of Haiti natives, she is the first in her family to be born in the United States. She is grateful for her wonderful support system of family and friends and believes her strong faith in God has carried her throughout her life. She fell in love with women’s health and knew the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology was the perfect fit for her.

Gabrielle’s greatest joy is her young son. She enjoys movie nights, baking cookies and just spending time together. She also loves to swim, dance and read.
