"I first came to Cherokee Women's with a GYN issue which Dr. Litrel helped me resolve very easily. When I became pregnant with my first child, it was an obvious choice that I would return to Cherokee Women's. Dr. Litrel and his staff were wonderful. I wanted my birth experience to be as natural as possible and all of the providers worked with me to provide this. They were respectful of what I wanted, but also expert with their care. It was a wonderful combination. (Separately, I was also thrilled with Northside Cherokee - a small hospital with amazing patient care in their labor and delivery section. Comfy rooms, too!) I returned for care with my second pregnancy. Again, the doctors were excellent and respectful of how I wanted my delivery to be. When my labor stalled, Dr. Litrel took me in for a C-Section. This likely saved my newborn's life as she had a complete knot in her umbilical cord that was undetected. I am SO grateful for Dr. Litrel's excellent skill. Excellent office, excellent physicians!"

"In June of 2011, I was rushed to Northside Hospital in Canton in severe pain only to find I had a ruptured tubal pregnancy. My family and I were so devastated. Dr. Litrel of Cherokee Women's Health came to my bedside and prayed with us, and then I was rushed to the operating room for surgery. He was so wonderful, kind, and had the best bedside manner. It’s February of 2012, and we are expecting again. Everyone in the office is so kind and respectful. "I have been on real self for two years reading about every experience relating to vaginoplasty before I chose to go with Dr. Litrel. I even had the opportunity to interact with his patients who were able to share their outcome and satisfaction years later. I also had numerous consultations with other doctors all of which could not properly address all of my concerns. I'm not sure if it's that Dr. Litrel is both an Ob as well as a urogynecologist making him more qualified and experienced to have such knowledge or if it's because he makes his patient's concerns his priority. I've lost 38 pounds in 4 months. I have more energy and I can do daily tasks that I took for granted and realized I couldn't do them. I realize there has to be a balance in the food you eat.
