The biology of a woman’s body sometimes presents unique challenges which require a doctor who specializes in the surgical care of women. This doctor is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist.

There are times when surgery is necessary and life saving. Our doctors are trained to act quickly and decisively when these emergency situations occur.

But more often, the decision whether to proceed with surgery is subjective.

Surgery is inherently dangerous; if you can avoid an operation it is best to do so. A careful analysis of the benefits and risks unique to each patient is done before any surgery is recommended.
