The best time for a woman to get treatment for pregnancy is before she gets pregnant. With a physical exam and laboratory testing, we can diagnose and treat medical problems that may adversely affect a future pregnancy.

In the same way that it is better to avoid a car accident than take your car to a body shop, it is better to avoid a pregnancy complication than it is to treat it.
