Hope Center Thrift Store Raffle The HOPE Center Quilt Raffle
June – September 8

Raffle tickets will be sold at our Woodstock office for “Esperanza,” a quilt by Mary Litrel (pictured right). The quilt will be on display in our Woodstock office through June, will move to Ann Litrel Art July 3-4 for a quilt show, and then will hang at the HOPE Center Thrift Store until the raffle.

Tickets are available at our Woodstock office, one dollar per ticket, or five dollars for a book of six. Proceeds will be donated to The HOPE Center.

The HOPE Center is a Christian ministry devoted to providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to women and men facing pregnancy-related issues.

Cherokee County Relay for Life, May 22-23, is a local event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Join the Cherokee Women's team for our all-night effort at Sequoyah High School – root for our contestant for the midnight “Miss-ter Relay Padgett”, dressed as a pregnant woman, of course!

At our Canton office we have baby baskets for raffle, and lots of other goodies to help with the fund-raising. To make a contribution, click on the link above, go to Donate, then Search for a team, then type in Cherokee Womens Health Specialist. All the funds we raise go to the American Cancer Society. We would love to have you come!

New Horizons for Children is a Christian based international hosting program which brings over orphaned children from Eastern Europe twice a year to share with them the love of God and the love of a family.

Our own Dr. Jorge Lense and his pediatrician wife Dr. Beverly Lense have been leaders in the work of this group, and on a personal level have adopted five children in addition to their two biological ones.
