Vaginoplasty and labiaplasty are considered cosmetic procedures so these treatments are not covered by insurance. However, if a medical condition is diagnosed and treated at the same time vaginoplasty and/or labiaplasty are performed, a portion of your expenses may be covered by your insurance. In the cases of women who have more severe damage to their pelvic organs and tissues, insurance does cover medical procedures for anterior and posterior repair, since they’re considered medical problems.
